Curtis Jones has shared that Salah said sorry to the team in the wake of the fallout from his recent interview.

“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.’”

The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I understand there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
